Adult Learner Student Organization (ALSO)

Adult Learner Student Organization (A.L.S.O) will strive to meet the needs of nontraditional students to make their journey as important as their destination. A.L.S.O. purpose is to inform, entertain, nurture, and ease the stress of non-traditional students.


Advocacy Boldness Leadership Empowerment (ABLE)

The purpose of ABLE shall be to provide a forum for discussing the concerns of students with disabilities; to provide a voice for the disability community, to raise awareness of disability issues; and to provide peer support.


Air Force ROTC

Kennesaw State University students may participate in the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps through the ARCHE cross-registration program. It involves an elective curriculum taken alongside required college classes. Students participating in the program will attend Air Force ROTC classes and training taught weekly at the Georgia Institute of Technology on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Ambassadors Serving Kennesaw (ASK)

The KSU Ambassadors are considered to be Kennesaw State University’s student public relations team. The Ambassadors represent KSU at a variety of special events that take place on and off campus throughout the year, including graduation ceremonies, lectures, gallery openings, honor society inductions, etc. Many of these events involve VIPs, such as the President of KSU and the President’s Cabinet. Serving as an Ambassador is a wonderful way for students to interact with many KSU constituencies and to enhance their overall college experience.

Environmental Alliance

The purpose of this organization is to educate and involve the KSU community in environmental issues; to influence institute policies and decisions with regard to environmental impact; to work in conjunction with the Environmental Concerns Committee and advise the SGA on environmental issues; and to network with environmental groups on other campuses.


Gamma Beta Mu Leadership Society

Gamma Beta Mu Leadership Society at KSU is known as the Beta Chapter because it is the second installment of the organization to be established at an accredited university. Their mission is to foster and instill leadership, character and unity in their members and of the diverse student body of the University through implementing different types of programming and events.


Gender and Women’s Studies Student Association

GWSSA at Kennesaw State University is founded on the premise that gender, which takes on different forms in different times and places, centrally shapes the everyday lives of all people.  GWSSA offers a place where not only can students and faculty increase social awareness among the student body and the public at large, but also get actively involved in engaging current gender and women’s issues, while focusing on intersections with race, ethnicity, and social class.


Graduate Student Association (GSA)

The Graduate Student Association allows graduate students to build an integrated support system to assist them in their academic pursuits as they balance the requirements of work, school, life, and family. GSA does this by providing social and networking opportunities for students and faculty from all Kennesaw State Graduate Programs to come together and disseminate skills and resources necessary to effectively compete in the market place, via socials, guest lectures, student conferences, and other networking events.

International Business Student Association is to promote the International Business Major to Kennesaw State University students; by building strong social and educational ties and foster excellence and high academic achievements among its members; and providing members the opportunities to enhance their knowledge and skills in the International Business field; while providing members the opportunities to meet International Business professionals through lectures, meetings, and discussions.

Invisible Children KSU Chapter

The purpose of IC|KSU is to raise awareness of the crisis in Uganda and to raise funds to assist in the recovery, alongside the nonprofit Invisible Children, Inc.


Kennesaw Activities Board

KAB is the programming body for the KSU student population. Through its programming areas, the Kennesaw Activities Board sponsors a wide variety of out-of-class events, activities, and programs. The Kennesaw Activities Board enhances the overall student life on campus by providing the following types of programs: comedy, films, lectures, music, outdoor activities, variety performers, Homecoming, and KSU Day. The Kennesaw Activities Board office is located in room 375 of the Student Center and the phone number is 7/423-6279. KAB general meetings are held weekly and you are invited to attend and become involved. Executive officers are elected each spring for the following year. The elected officers appoint coordinator positions. To be eligible to coordinate an area or serve as an executive officer, a student must be enrolled at KSU, have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA, and be an active member of the Kennesaw Activities Board. Upon enrollment you are a member of the Kennesaw Activities Board.

KCA helps students learn about the field of communication and how it impacts businesses, besides giving them opportunities for networking, real-life involvement and personal achievement.
