A Woman's Voice

The purpose of A Woman’s Voice is to provide a platform for women’s issues and interests through a feminist sense. The focus will be to provide resources, support, and empowerment through an open and safe atmosphere for all issues relating to women. Emphasis will be placed on education through literature; self-awareness and advocacy; and personal and professional growth while bridging the generation gap. We will focus our efforts on discovering the meaning of womanhood for each person and incorporating this understanding into our everyday lives.

African American Student Alliance (AASA)

The African-American Student Alliance is a collegiate support group created to provide the Kennesaw State University community with educational and social programming which promotes cultural diversity. The organization achieves its goal through the selection and presentation of renowned lecturers, performers and through artistic and relevant presentations. Activities take place throughout the academic year and involve campus-wide participation. AASA works with other campus committees and organizations in implementing its programming. All students enrolled at Kennesaw State University are eligible for membership in the organization.


African and African Diaspora Studies Student Organization (AADSSO)

The African and African Diaspora Studies Student Organization is dedicated to the academic and community development of students at KSU.

We are students interested in promoting the common good of the AADS department, and increasing awareness.


African Student Association (AfriSA)

African Student Association is all about promoting interaction among all students of African origins and with students interested in African affairs. We envision ASA to become a “togetherness front” where we can become leaders and give opportunites to those who don’t have them. The mission will be to empower ourselves with everything positive about Africa as well as trying to improve on the negative associated with Africa. We also envision becoming a vehicle to advocate for POSITIVE change in neglected regions of Africa.


Asia Club

The purpose of this club is to promote Asian culture on campus, to strive to unite students interested in Asia and to be dedicated to increasing East-West understanding.


Caribbean Student Association (CARIBSA)

The Caribbean Student Association (CARIBSA) is an organization focused on bringing about increased knowledge and awareness of West Indian culture at Kennesaw State University. Our goal is to enhance and celebrate West Indian culture, politics, and history through programming and community service. CARIBSA is open to all Kennesaw State University Students regardless of their national origins, and we seek to build alliances with groups and other organizations within the University whose interests are compatible with ours.


Chinese Language Club

The purpose of the Chinese Language Club is to provide an opportunity for students and local community to become more involved in Chinese language through a variety of cultural events and situational activities, and provide an atmosphere that promotes the development, utilization and understanding of the Chinese Language and culture. Chinese Student Association

The purpose of the Chinese Student Association is to promote the Chinese culture; to unite students interested in China; to encourage involvement of students of Chinese heritage in campus leadership and service and to provide academic and professional resources to students interested in study and a career in China.


Colombian Students Association at KSU

COSAK is a student organization that hopes to educate other people in our culture; that Colombia is not only guerilla warfare and all the negative thing you see in the news. Colombia is beautiful! Also it is a place to meet and make new friends; We will be bringing speakers out such as the Colombian Consul, CNN employee that is involve in international affairs, and more. We also engage in community service mini projects and some salsa nights.


Cuban Studies Organization (CSO)

The purpose of the Cuban Studies Organization (CSO) is to examine Cuba and its future, and to encourage research and outreach in an effort to fully understand the potential that exist in a post-Castro Cuba. Are aim is to provide, equip, and assist KSU students and staff with a central source for research and outreach regarding Cuba.

Distinguished Black Gentlemen, Inc

Distinguished Black Gentlemen (DBG) was founded in the interest of creating a support system for the African American male population at Kennesaw State University. Distinguished Black Gentlemen will accomplish this by fostering pride and understanding of the African American male’s purpose in the collegiate arena and life.


French Club

The KSU French Club is an academic organization dedicated to the learning and enjoyment of French language and culture. By engaging in and learning about French activities, the club promotes the acceptance and knowledge of other cultures, and the openness to globalization, thus, it celebrates differences in culture by focusing on the culture of France and other Francophonic countries. Likewise, the French Club conducts various social activities some of which reach out to the community at large.


German Club

The purpose of the German Club is to provide a forum for continuing education of students of the spoken and written German language; to promote student awareness of German culture and society; to build a foundation for student knowledge of the contributions that Germany makes to the work of politics and business: and to demonstrate the personal and professional benefits of speaking German.


Global Society

Global Society is the umbrella organization on campus sponsoring simulation teams including Model United Nations, Model Arab League, and Model Organization of African Unity. These teams compete nationally and internationally in simulations that teach and improve student skills in leadership, effective communication and diplomatic problem resolution. The Global Society office is in the Student Center, room 369, and the phone number is 7/420-4386.


Haitian Student Alliance

HSA educates and promotes the Haitian culture through various workshops, seminars, community service, and cultural activities in continuing with Kennesaw State University’s pride in promoting cultural diversity.


Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The purpose of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) Chapter at KSU is to promote academic success and professional preparation among college students, while encouraging them to serve as role models and leaders in their communities.


Indian Cultural Exchange

Unite students of Southeast Asia ethnic background and those who have interest in the Eastern culture through activities that invoke cultural interaction and social involvement.
Exchange culture and educate the greater university community.


Intercultural Dialogue & Empathy Association (IDEA)

The mission of IDEA is to foster interfaith and intercultural dialogue and to provide a platform for empathy and mutual respect. The principal goal of IDEA is to promote love and understanding and spend efforts to find ways and more common ground.

International Student Association

Welcome to the World! Whether you are international or just have a strong interest for different cultures in general, International Student Association is for you. Through our meetings and events we try not only to encourage exchanges among students of all nationalities but also to make our members feel that they belong to the campus community in a global way.


Italian Club

The Italian Club’s main purpose is to provide, promote, and create an environment in which the students may discuss, explore, and reflect upon the Italian culture, language, and society. The Italian Club invites all interested students to activities, ranging from the arts, folklore, literature, language, history, politics, cuisine, and overall culture of Italy. These activities may be held on campus, or outside of campus. Meetings and activities are voluntary and all interested students are welcome to attend.
